Rita Olivares Transitions Into Full-time Program Coordinator
Rita has been a writer and Program Leader for Latinitas and has transitioned to being Latinitas’ Program Coordinator for year round programs and Latinitas Magazine. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in English Literature and Language and Mexican American and Latina/o Studies. Her love and passion for her culture and roots have led her to pursue a career in the empowerment and betterment of the Latinx community. Rita hopes to become a published author and give back to her hometown community in Laredo, Texas.
