Karla Lugo Transitions Into Full-Time Communications Coordinator
New to Austin, all the way from El Paso, TX, Karla joins the Latinitas full-time staff as Communications Coordinator.
Karla graduated with a degree in Digital Advertising and Marketing from the University of Texas at El Paso, and hopes to continue helping Latinitas’ mission of empowering the next generation of leaders by expanding the organization’s digital presence. Having worked in the advertising world for over five years, Karla hopes she can bring that experience into her new position and make Latinitas a household name among the nonprofit community in Austin.
In her spare time, Karla enjoys binging TV shows, listening to true crime podcasts, and annoying her pug, Olivia.
